A laboratory result for a textile does not automatically describe the performance of every finished garment made from it. Protection can also be influenced by material orientation, seams, closures, coverage, fit, wear, laundering and the way the garment is used.

Is the garment cut-proof?
No. Protective clothing can reduce defined risks, but “cut-proof” implies absolute protection and should not be used.
Does one report cover every product?
Not automatically. The tested sample, construction, material and intended statement must be reviewed against each product.
